DOMESTIC WATER/SEWER CONNECTIONS

A domestic water system describes the indoor and outdoor potable water distribution system. It also means the point where a water service line attaches to a water main, thereby allowing water to flow from the City's water system to an individual customer.

Sewer connection means the point where an individual sanitary service line attaches to the City's sewer system, thereby allowing the discharge of an individual sewage waste stream to the sewer collection main.

KNOW THE DIFFERECE BETWEEN THE TWO:

When you think of sewage and water lines, you can view them as two lanes of traffic. Sewage is outbound, taking dirty water away from homes and commercial properties. Water lines are the inbound lane, bringing clean water into homes and businesses.
