CONDUIT INSTALLATION

A conduit is a tube in which electrical or telecom wires are housed for a variety of building or structural applications. Conduit pipe can also be used to provide protection for electrical/telecom wiring from things like moisture, impact, chemical vapors, and animals.

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) conduit is the most popular type of non-metallic conduit and has several advantages: Versatile and easy to install. Typically less expensive that other options.

PVC conduit is often used in underground and wet location applications where electrical cables need to be protected. Because it's UV tested and rated, it can be used in locations where it will be exposed to UV rays.
